The Grid Services Market Research Position Sunnova Energy is searching for an Intern, Grid Services Market Research to be responsible for researching the diverse landscape of power market rules and policies that allow grid services to be delivered through Sunnova’s purpose-built demand response and VPP enabling software.
Grid Services Market Research Responsibilities •Researches publicly available sources to discover, analyze and report on cutting edge grid services market opportunities.•Contributes to existing store of research with new discoveries.•Engages with state-of-the-art commercial energy policy service (“EnerKnol”) to design impactful information trackers
Minimum Requirements•Education required: (Minimum) Completed junior year from accredited university in relevant major•Minimum years of experience required: None•Prior work or course work in policy research•Prior work or course work that required drafting presentation materials and presenting
Preferred Qualifications•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities•Prior experience and competence with free form entry into spreadsheets
Working Conditions•Open-office environment
Physical Requirements•Extended periods of time working at computer workstation
