About the Job  

At Integral, Principals are business leaders, client leaders, and staff leaders. Principals are recognized internally and externally as technical and strategic authorities in one or more technical areas. They direct major technical efforts and project teams, ensuring technical excellence, alignment with contractual requirements, and compliance with the firm’s QA/QC procedures. Principals help develop the next generation of firm leaders, by recruiting new talent and coaching colleagues. Paramount to the position is successful client development—for both existing and new clients and in both existing and new services. Individuals who successfully generate revenue are recognized as trusted advisors to key clients, which in turn requires in-depth understanding of clients' business and technical challenges. Principals generate revenue equal to or exceeding $1.25 million per year through a combination of collaboration and individual effort. This position may offer in-office, hybrid, or remote opportunities based on the candidate's location and the needs of the organization.  

Responsibilities  

• Generate revenue by expanding word with existing clients and developing new clients
• Deliver high quality products to clients
• Support the career growth of staff
• Promote and expand the firm's reputation, as well as one's personal reputation, by presenting at scientific conferences and publishing in the peer-reviewed scientific literature
• Understands and reinforces Integral's Health and Safety Program and Quality Management Program
• Ensures that work is performed by the most appropriate staff and in accordance with the applicable standard of care and applicable licensure requirements.

Qualifications  

• Advanced degree in toxicology, industrial hygiene, epidemiology, biology, chemistry, environmental health, or similar field
• At least 15 years of directly relevant experience (i.e., in environmental consulting)
• Pertinent certifications (e.g., DABT, BCES, CIH, Certified Senior Ecologist)
• Successful track record in generating $1M/year in business and completing projects on time, on schedule, and with high quality
• At least 5 years of experience managing technically complex projects and supervising the work of a high-functioning, multidisciplinary team
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high quality work products

Annual Salary Range: $170,000 – $210,000
