About the role

Salary/Position Classification

  • 12.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 5-10 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide campus tours for prospective students and families, high school and middle school students, and for the local community, etc. -
  • Provide VIP tours for industry representatives.
  • Assist with special event functions and administrative work. 
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Required Competencies

  • Attention to detail.
    Good oral and written communication skills.
    Ability to interact with various groups of individuals in a tour setting.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum second semester student enrolled in one of the academic departments within the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Studies
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sophomore status preferred
