Defense Mission Professional, Junior

Key Role:

Provides analysis and recommendations in support of defense mission-oriented functions. Assists in the alignment of processes, systems, policies, and organizational structures with defense mission and strategy of the organization and Command. Analyzes workflows and processes to identify process inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Creates process for defense mission by integrating new processes to improve existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted stakeholders. Develops innovative solutions that impact defense mission.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience providing concise, actionable communications to senior officials in written and verbal formats
• Ability to support interagency and coalition policy formulations on cyberspace issues, ensuring authorities, concerns, and equities are accurately represented
• Ability to maintain awareness of cyber-related policy issues and reports issues affecting the DOD and USCYBERCOM
• Ability to analyze and assess programmatic issues, conduct risk analysis, and propose innovative and achievable solutions
• Ability to utilize Command internal systems to collect, analyze, and compile metrics for division and or branch reports
• Ability to assist with the preparation of management plans and reports
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Possession of excellent critical thinking skills
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $47,000.0
