3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience

- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with local management and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the sales floor, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual behavior, access issues, and/or policy violations, and report concerns through appropriate channels.
- Support loss prevention and store operations by observing customer and employee activity, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and completing detailed incident and activity reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
