Construction Project Manager II

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with architects, engineers, and key external and internal stakeholders  
• Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring costs are tracked and controlled.  Lead value engineering exercises as needed
• Create and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and identify potential delays or issues
• Manage and allocate resources, including internal stakeholders, materials, and equipment. Ensure design standards are regularly reviewed and updated to keep current
• Ensure construction work meets quality standards including conducting periodic site walks to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the project, such as safety hazards, delays, or cost overruns
• Lead and motivate project teams, including internal stakeholders, subcontractors and construction workers, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and providing regular updates on project progress and effectively identify and resolve project issues and challenges
• Interpret and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Partner with vendor management to negotiate favorable contract terms and manage administrative tasks related to contract submissions, statements of work and change orders

• Minimum Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is preferred
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in construction project management 
• Ability to work under pressure and successfully manage multiple projects with competing priorities
• Proven sound judgment, work ethic, and professional integrity with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong analytical and writing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to identify areas in need of business improvement and lead initiative for change
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Certification/License: CCMA (Construction Mgmt. Assoc. of America), CMIT, CACM or CCM preferred

Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR:  $95,000 to $115,000 annually  + annual bonus
