Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees, Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility, our team provides exceptional care in emergency medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, digestive disorders, wound care, and various medical, surgical and outpatient services. Job Summary:

Assists in the performance of duties necessary to keep the equipment and facilities presentable and in good repair. Performs a variety of routine general and preventative maintenance duties. Performs routine painting jobs on furniture, fixtures and interior and exterior surfaces. Prepares surfaces, removing paint or varnish finishes, fills and repairs walls, floors, ceilings, etc. Maintains required records.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
  • Relevant industrial/commercial painting experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Valid Driver’s License (DL) and must be at least 21 yrs of age or older: Required

Essential Functions:

  • Plans and performs a wide variety of routine painting jobs on furniture, fixtures and interior and exterior surfaces. Prepares surfaces, removing paint or varnish finishes, fills and repairs walls, floors, ceilings, etc. Participates as needed in major renovations, new construction, alterations and installations.
  • Maintains a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted. Maintains preventative maintenance records, reports and files as required.
  • Maintains tools and supplies necessary to perform duties.
  • Reports damage, defects and other issues pertaining to equipment.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
