Help customers successfully implement Red Hat solutions, give advice and review configurations as systems are configured, work with customers and support staff to ensure issues are identified and resolved, and help customers create new and innovative systems using Red Hat systems.

*Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.

What you will do

• Tie implementations to tangible business outcomes, align system designs to management priorities for customers, and assist customers with system design and implementation.
• Assist with creation of playbooks, runbooks, and system documentation.
• Coach customers on the use of Red Hat products, help customers develop integration plans, assist with system design using Red Hat and partner products, and assist with system design and documentation.
• Assist customers with system implementation and troubleshooting, research and train to stay up to date on Red Hat and industry standards and practices and assist customers with system design and implementation.
• Work with customers to determine staffing needs and skills necessary for successful implementation of Red Hat and related products.
• Help customers understand requisite inputs and outputs for software implementations, help customers determine costs and expected returns from designs, and recommend Red Hat and related products as part of a holistic solution design.

The salary range for this position is $162,950 - $260,830/ year. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
• Must have five (5) years of experience with: working in software engineering, consulting, infrastructure management, sales engineering, or a solutions architecture role; Linux system administration; one or more virtualization providers; and giving technical presentations to small and large groups of business, technical, management, and leadership audiences.
• Must have three (3) years of experience with: one or more public cloud providers including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or IBM Cloud, and their integration with enterprise customers; hyperscaler services; implementing and deploying Kubernetes and related CNCF landscape projects; and IT architecture management, including creating and following complex architecture implementation plans.
• Domestic travel required up to 25% of the time to customer sites and internal and external conferences. Travel expenses covered by Red Hat, Inc.
