Description
Prevailance is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to support the US Navy as a Logistics Planner.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provide data and system support for the following systems/tools used to analyze and develop readiness and training requirements:
1. Advanced Skill Management (ASM)
2. Readiness Cost Reporting Program (RCRP)
3. Navy Training Information Management System (NTIMS)
- Perform Navy Mission Essential Task List (NMETL) and Navy Tactical Task (NTA) reviews for relevance and provide recommendations for updating based on current requirements
- Perform curriculum reviews of courses for relevance and provide recommendations for updating curriculum materials
- Liaise with the Readiness and Requirements Officer to conduct thorough analysis on subordinate units in order to develop cogent OFRP training plans within HHQ guidance and provide recommendations to other leadership
- Liaise with the Learning Standards Officer and the Lead Assessor to develop cogent instructor and assessor training plans within command and provide recommendations on instructor certifications and assessor qualifications to leadership
- Develop presentations, reports, point papers, lesson topic guides, safety-briefing formats, and other documents in support of the training and exercise program
- Participate in working group meetings to recommend requirements for training development, assist in the coordination and development of training facilities, training areas/ranges and other project related purposes
- Provide subject matter expertise to support and train current and new battalion and regiment personnel Expeditionary Cargo Operations (G-2G-2140)
- Provide support to the Mobile Training Team (MTT) to review subordinate units, conduct analysis and provide fundamental training in operational planning functions specific to cargo handling and logistics operations
- Provide support as a Command and Control / TOC Assessor during Unit Level Training Readiness Assessment (ULTRA) events with Unit Readiness and Assessments and ensure courses are in line with OFRP training and assessment objectives and provide input to ULTRA Master Sequence of Events List (MSEL) to ensure quality delivery of training and assessment
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years within the past seven (7) years of hands-on subject matter expertise as a Command and Control / Logistics Planning Instructor
- Prior experience and qualification NEC of 9502, 805A or DoD equivalent as a senior instructor is required
Ā Additional Requirements:
- Graduate of a certified Navy Instructor Training Course (NEC 9502, 9501, or 9518) or equivalent (Completion) of a civilian (or commercial) formal course of instruction
- Shall meet Navy High-Risk Training requirements to include climbing up in a crane and going topside on a ship
- Possess valid CPR/AED certification
- Provide proof of recent (within three (3) years) first aid certification
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance Level:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
