Job Title: Principal Network Strategy and Development
Locations: New Jersey - remote

This role is responsible for evaluating market opportunities within PBM Pharmacy Network and evaluating strategies across various lines of business to retain and grow value. This position will be responsible to evaluating, implementing, and overseeing business partnerships to expand pharmacy network programs. Additionally, this role is responsible for evaluating industry pricing trends as well as state and federal regulations to deliver competitive pharmacy pricing while ensuring compliance. Key duties include working with cross functional organizations such as Finance, Technology, Operations, Sales and Account Management to provide subject matter expertise which contributes to the SS&C’s overall operational excellence and profitability. This role frequently engages with senior leadership and external prospects and partners.

What You Will Get To Do:
- Build and manage processes to support competitive pricing and regulatory compliance, including MAC pricing strategy and MAC appeals
- Build and manage processes that oversee and optimize relationships with external partners supporting various network services
- Develop analytical tools and processes to identify pricing opportunities to drive revenue for SS&C and SS&C customers while mitigating guarantee risk Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities
- Identify Organization's strengths and weaknesses with regards to Pharmacy Networks and suggest areas of improvement
- Provide market and competitive intelligence related to pharmacy network services including identifying how SS&C can leverage new partnerships and industry changes (M&A, Regulatory, and market disruptions) to grow and retain business.
- Assist cross-functional teams and leadership with negotiations and contracting with new partnerships or expansion of existing partnerships
What You Will Bring:
- Degree in Business, Mathematics, Pharmacy, Actuarial Science or other related area
- Minimally requires a Master's degree and 6 years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience, or high school degree and 10 years of related experience
- 3+ years’ experience with modeling and data management
- 3+ years’ experience in managing outsourced vendor relationships
- Advanced SQL, DB Visualizer and Excel skills required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task
