Our opportunity: 

We seek an experienced Automation Delivery Manager to oversee the management of automation and AI projects, ensuring coordination between various teams, meeting milestones, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing an Automation Center of Excellence (COE) and AI projects. This role requires a strong focus on adherence to project timelines and budgets, aiming to deliver successful project outcomes. Location: San Jose, CA (On-site) 

You will make an impact by being responsible for: 

• Leading the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring all team members are aligned with project goals and deliverables. 

• Facilitating the definition of Automation programs and projects' scope, goals, and deliverables. 

• Tracking project milestones and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of tasks. 

• Using appropriate tools to monitor and report on the status of projects to all stakeholders. 

• Identify potential project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies. 

• Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. 

• Serving as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring precise and consistent communication. 

• Prepare and deliver project reports, proposals, and presentations as needed. 

• Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports. 

• Ensuring all project documentation is stored in an accessible and organized manner. 

You will be a great fit if you have:  

• Bachelor degree in business administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred 

• 10+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record in managing AI and automation projects 

• Experience managing an Automation Center of Excellence (COE) is highly preferred 

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification 

• Scrum Master Certification and Scaled Agile certification (SAFe) or similar certification 

• Strong understanding of AI and automation technologies and their application in business processes

• Ability to effectively lead project planning and implementation, ensuring all team members are aligned with project goals, deliverables, and timelines 

• Strong skills in identifying, assessing, and managing project risks and issues, developing effective mitigation strategies to address them 

• Excellent communication skills to serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, clearly conveying complex information and ensuring consistent and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle. 

• Demonstrated experience in managing AI and automation projects, with a deep understanding of the technologies and their application within business processes 

• Proficiency in maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and progress reports, ensuring all project information is up-to-date and organized 

The base salary range for this position is $195,000 - $210,000 plus commission. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is eligible for equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
