OnsiteThe candidate selected for this position will lead Applied Signal Technology’s industrial security organization, providing industrial security support to all AST security domains.
The position is part of the AST Security Leadership Team and reports directly to the AST Security Director.
AST Security oversees security operations at multiple locations across the United States, and the Industrial Security Manager maintains program security representation and support at these sites.
The role will ensure that clear expectations are established and flowed down through the industrial security organization and lead industrial security collaboration across AST, Collins, and Raytheon Technologies stakeholders.
In addition, this position will ensure Industrial Security maintains clear, timely, and effective communications with all internal and external customers to respond, inform, and mitigate risk.
**This individual can sit at any AST location** (Anaheim, CA, Salt Lake City, UT, San Jose, CA, Annapolis Junction, MD)
Primary Responsibilities
This position will lead a very large, diverse, and talented team, providing industrial security support at multiple AST facilities and customer/government locations.
Must be able to effectively lead in a dynamic and deliverable-driven environment, successfully navigating through difficult situations
This position will ensure that Industrial Security executes and sustains a compliant security program, generating results that enable the business and exceed customer expectations.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience leading and executing security processes and projects within SCI, SAP, and collateral environments.
Demonstrated subject matter expertise in managing and implementing an industrial security program with extensive knowledge of the ICD 705, 32 Code of Federal Regulations Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual, DISS, NISS, and associated government security databases.
Experience conducting self-inspections of varying complexity.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Experience in executing leadership and managerial duties (i.e., performance development, career coaching, mentoring, training, resource management, budget management, etc.)
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
COMSEC experience for a traditional account.
Experience developing and implanting OPSEC and program protection plans.
Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification.
Project or program management experience.
Degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study
