We are seeking an Director-level Employee Success Business Partner (ESBP) to provide a full range of HR support to a subset of our South EMEA region (Italy, Iberia, Middle East, Africa and Emerging countries). You will lead all aspects of ES activities for the South region. In this role you will facilitate support to our South CEO and business leadership teams and be required lead and encourage a small team of 2ESBPs, and an extended team incl. Labour relation, People consultant.
You will be part of the wider EMEA ES regional leadership team and, in a partnership capacity, work closely with the wider Employee Success team.
This role provides an opportunity for significant impact on our business success. In partnership with the South leadership team you will drive the people strategy for country and business teams and work with functional business leaders across the region in a matrix set up. Your role will focus on organisation design and effectiveness, building people/country ES strategies, change leadership, leadership coaching and executive advising, diversity and equality and interpreting data and analytics to drive impact.
This is a sophisticated role and you should have validated capability that you can excel in a fast-paced environment and feel comfortable working in a diverse and matrix-ed organisation. You will report into the Vice President, Employee Success, EMEA.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of 2 ESBPs
Partner with the ESBP team to work closely with the regional CEO, Country Leaders, and senior executives to understand country business and employee needs and objectives, develop strategies and implement solutions to address needs
Participate as a member of EMEA South leadership team
Partner with other EMEA ES leads on high impact V2MOM (business plan) initiatives.
Support Labour relations teams
Build and drive the ES transformation plan for South countries incl. Workforce Planning
Mentor and advocate for senior leader(s) and leadership teams
Drive the EMEA Southern Europe talent strategy and plan in partnership with regional leadership and the Talent Experience team
Ongoing analysis of the customer group. Assess and interpret trends and metrics around employee satisfaction, attrition and turnover per country or leadership team, etc. Partner with ES BP team to establish recommendations for improvement or enhancements based on analysis
Deliver flawless client support by partnering with ES corporate functions and COEs and using ES programs, policies, processes and systems
Requirements and Key Skills
- Confirmed leadership capability and experience of driving a high level of employee happiness within team
- Demonstrated track record of developing and maintaining relationships with multiple partners at senior business level (SVP+) and coaching team members and business leaders
- Experience in developing, embedding and performing a comprehensive and broad range of people strategies that addresses identified business needs and driving significant business transformation
- Demonstrated ability to lead or support major initiatives across a sophisticated and ambitious business group
- History of working closely with senior leaders to handle a variety of issues and tasks, including organisation design and frequent change projects
- English fluency, along with Italian and/or Spanish language fluency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be an eloquent and persuasive communicator
- Ability to conduct group facilitation, mentor and counsel managers
- Knowledge of staffing, compensation, and talent management standard processes
- Great knowledge of applicable European employment laws (Spain, Italy & Portugal)
- Proven HR experience preferably within a high-growth technology organisation
- Experience providing HR business partner support to organisations of 500+ employees
- Outstanding customer service skills, including the desire to make others successful
- Outstanding problem solving skills with passion for data
