The Opportunity:

The Talent Recruiting Partner role offers a unique opportunity to help build the recruiting function for Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), an independent research and development agency within the U.S. Department of Defense tasked with making pivotal investments in breakthrough technologies for national security. The Agency creates transformational change by working within an entrepreneurial ecosystem that includes academic, corporate and governmental partners.
 
We are looking for an experienced Recruiter who loves to source and research varied talent in the STEM space, capable of inventing the next technological breakthrough. Talent at DARPA has invented or played a key role in innovations, such as the internet, GPS, stealth technology, autonomous vehicles, and mRNA vaccines. The Talent Recruiting Partner will be responsible for sourcing and building relationships with this level of talent.

You Have:

• 8+ years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, talent management, and business partnership

• Experience recruiting technical skillsets, such as Engineering, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), science, or aerospace

• Experience conducting research

• Ability to work independently and find innovative solutions to complex challenges

• Ability to build and communicate the DARPA value proposition

• Ability to build lasting connections with key technical talent of interest to DARPA

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with executive search for technical positions

• Experience as a strategic business partner

• Experience launching or customizing an Applicant Tracking System, such as Workday or Avature

• Possession of excellent time management, organizational, and detail-oriented skills

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field preferred; Master’s degree a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
