Position Summary
The People Vendor Strategy & Business Manager will drive the strategy, governance, and operational effectiveness of the organization’s HR and people-related vendor partnerships. This role will serve as a strategic partner to People Group and Procurement, ensuring vendors deliver maximum value, align with business priorities, and enable an exceptional associate experience.
This leader will oversee vendor performance, facilitate business reviews, and ensure proactive management of contracts and partnerships across benefits, talent systems, contingent workforce providers, and associate services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a people vendor management strategy aligned to People Group and business goals.
- Act as the primary relationship manager for key People vendor partners, fostering collaboration and driving accountability for performance.
- Establish governance processes, including vendor segmentation, performance metrics, and structured business reviews.
- Partner with HR leaders and Procurement to manage the full vendor lifecycle, from selection and onboarding through ongoing performance and contract renewals.
- Monitor and report on vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and strategic priorities, providing insights and recommendations to HR leadership.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, cost optimization, and service improvement in partnership with vendors.
- Proactively address vendor risks and issues to ensure business continuity and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management, HR operations, procurement, or business strategy roles.
- Strong understanding of HR vendor landscapes (benefits, technology, workforce solutions, etc.).
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across HR, procurement, and business leadership.
- Excellent strategic thinking, relationship management, and analytical skills.

Annual Salary
$121,975.00 - $189,625.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
