With us, you’ll shape a career that is truly forward-facing with many amazing opportunities and offerings to match.</p><p>But there’s more work to be done and we depend on inspired, creative and dedicated people who want to shape a brighter future with us – that’s why we need you to join us.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>Location: Milan, Italy</strong></p><p>As Junior Energy Storage Developer, you will be part of a team working on the business and project development of several flexibility projects in Italy, from the very first phases up to Construction. Your contributions will span over a set of technologies and selected locations in Italy. You will participate in different permitting procedures such as Sole Authorizations (AU), Simplified Authorization Procedure (PAS) and Environmental Impact Assessment (VIA) for standalone and co-located projects, representing Statkraft in front of all the main stakeholders, including Public Authorities.</p><p>You will be based within the Italian Storage and Grid Development team. You will have the chance to work in a young and multidisciplinary team, and you will report to Storage and Grid Director. Also, you will be closely working with colleagues from solar and wind development teams for Co-located flexibility projects assigned to you.</p><p>Please note that frequent travels to the project sites and to stakeholders may be required.</p><p><strong>Areas of responsibility and accountability  </strong></p><p>Main responsibilities are:</p><ul><li>Supporting the origination of flexibility projects</li><li>Supporting in analysis and reporting of the Italian pipeline</li><li>Supporting and managing permitting of selected flexibility projects to take them to RTB</li><li>Collaborating with other Statkraft departments (in Italy and international) and external contracted parties for outsourced Development and Engineering Services, etc.</li><li>Providing contributions to finance modelling, evaluation, and route to markets analysis</li><li>Coordinating with a senior member to manage several projects in a coordinated way with your other colleagues in the Storage and Grid Services team</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Higher relevant education within Project Management, Engineering or Business, preferably at master’s level or beyond</li><li>Experience from Project Management / Permitting / Development role in Italy desirable</li><li>BESS / Hydro background desirable</li><li>Forward thinking and eager to learn</li><li>Ability to build and receive trust and empowerment in a distributed organisation</li><li>Relationship builder with the ability to collaborate constructively with business and functional leaders in an international environment</li><li>High personal integrity and high ethical standards with strong Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) understanding and commitment </li><li>Ability to make good judgements, take decisions and create results</li><li>Capability to contribute on a new and large business ambition  </li><li>Very good interpersonal and communication skills, able to follow internal processes, respecting compliance policies, etc.</li><li>Strong communication skills both in English and in Italian </li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>We have 125 years of unrivalled expertise in creating the technologies that put ecosystems, communities and our environment first.
