Job Description

You will report to the Director, Professional Services MOM Americas.

Your Responsibilities:

As a regional Professional Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading a segment of our Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) business in North America. The position reports to the Americas Business Director, MOM. In this role, you will manage a cross functional team with emphasis on improving delivery quality and client expansion with expectations to manage the commercial & technical success of all projects. The role will collaborate with regional counterparts, global solutions teams, commercial selling, and clients. Candidate must excel in project budget management, resource scheduling, capability assessments and enablement, delivery quality and executing plans for strategic industry solution growth. This role will have specific emphasis on expanding and improving profitability on existing client base by coordinating with our global Centers of Excellence for multi-region resource optimization, driving use of best-in-class reusable solutions, implementation strategies, right first time quality and standardizing delivery methodologies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Direct client engagement, stakeholder management, and account-based MES solution adoption and expansion planning
    • Management of quality to ensure first time right software delivery, conforming to SDLC quality requirements, and establishing tighter controls for development formal release process
    • Actively managing existing and newly acquired accounts to ensure good business pursuits in relation to profitability, scalability, and conforming to focused industry solutions
    • Manage regional projects/ programs KPIs, shipment Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and margin
    • Manage regional projects through project managers, coordinate with finance to ensure proper revenue recognition from project activities monthly
    • Manage utilization of regional team and assigned Center of Excellence staff
    • Leads solution and resource collaboration requirements with regional service manager counterparts, Center of Excellence teams, and drives Center of Excellence partnerships
    • Forecast resource requirements based on opportunity pipeline
    • Attracts, retains, develops, evaluates, motivates and leads personnel to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the delivery team
    • Accountable to ensure regional project teams comply with the use of standardized company project management controls: issue management, change management, quality management, financial systems, and risk management
    • Drive use of both internal quality management systems and applicable industry-specific regulatory quality compliance
    • Accountable to ensure that regional project managers properly manage the budgets for project expenditures providing a full and accurate disclosure of budget, including cost center variance reporting, forecasting and explanations of over/under expenditures
    • Coordinates and reports regional project progress in support of the schedule and budget using standardized reporting templates

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time

  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus
