Job Description
The Engine Production Specialist’s primary responsibilities are to support the Engine Production Planner planning and prioritizing workflow of engines parts through the facility and to Outside Vendors, responsible for kitting modules for assembly, identifying issues and proactively communicating with site leadership and coworkers in the Engines Program to ensure OTD.
- Work collaboratively with Leadership and coworkers to prioritize and identify production failure points to remediate and ensure timely engine deliveries to the customer.
- Proactively coordinates material requirements with Procurement to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials.
- Acts as an informal leader/influencer of others by articulating relevant facts, statistics, and real-time information to gain consensus within the leadership team to take actionable next steps.
- Forecasts and communicates workflow and estimated completion dates to stakeholders.
- Researches, evaluates, and recommends changes to production processes, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance organization's production capabilities.
- Leverages customer communications and resolution skills to support a high-level of customer service.
Qualifications
- Technical background in the Aerospace industry.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in manufacturing data systems, data analysis and associated financials.
- Hands on experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Education:
- BA/BS Degree (preferred)
- Engine overhaul experience (preferred)

Salary Range: $68,400 - $102,600 / year
