Food Service Lead

Description

We are looking for a Food Service Lead to join the Valor Oil team. To work a variety of stations on any given shift. You will report to the Store Manager or the Food Service Manager where applicable. You need to be a team player who can effectively communicate with employees to keep things running efficiently. 

Start: Immediate

Location: Owensboro, KY area

Schedule: Multiple available

Pay: $16.00 hourly starting

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the quick food service department.
• Train and supervise cashiers and food service associates.
• Manage inventory and order supplies.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Provide training to staff on proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Investigate and address any food safety concerns or incidents.
• Implement and maintain food safety protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with health inspectors and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with cash handling and inventory management.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Must be able to obtain any local and Serve Safe certifications
• Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
• Ability to safely use equipment/supplies and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to lead and train staff and/or students.
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects up to 20 lbs.
• Knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, techniques, and quality standards.
• Must be able to obtain and local health/safety certifications
