Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Primary Care to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy.
The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Opportunity Details:
- Ambulatory Care Clinic duties for both adult primary care and internal medicine specialties.
- Perform history and physical examinations.
- Order diagnostic tests based on assessments, develop treatment plans and prescribe drugs and other therapies, as needed.
- Counsel patients and families regarding care.
- Review and respond to referrals from within and outside the clinic.
- Precept, evaluate and mentor physician assistant students rotating through the assigned clinics, as needed.
- Daytime Schedule - Includes one evening per week (11:00am-7:00pm or 12:00pm-8:00pm) and one weekend day per month.

Qualifications
- Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant
- Current certification issued by the NCCPA
- Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836* based on 40-hour work week.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** and $192,319**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
