You will play a key part in the operations of Palo Alto Networks’ local locations in a very exciting time of move and change. By providing best in class workplace experience and facility management, this role is critical to delivering the company’s commitment “To create a safe and collaborative workspace that supports our flexible and inclusive culture”.<br/>
Reporting to the Director, EMEA Places, the role requires high energy, can do attitude with ability to work independently and also collaboratively.</p><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with the Amsterdam Places team on operational tasks of 3 facilities in the Amsterdam area - Including daily facilities operations, administrative functions and logistics to provide the best employee experience</li><li>Manage new office opening and closure of old facilities while keeping business continuity - Support communication and employee engagement</li><li>Support the management of the Palo Alto Networks real estate portfolio in Amsterdam which includes the regional HQ, Data Center and a warehouse facility - Building and reinforcing the relationships with the building’s landlords and management companies</li><li>Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and cross-departmental teams - Influence through timely, relevant, and targeted communication that balances the needs of the business with the services provided by our team</li><li>Assist with project bid and tender process and administer relevant documentation relating to the facility location, including for any minor alteration and addition works</li><li>Work closely with the Director, EMEA Places, local Place team and the regional team</li><li>Partner effectively with key groups such as IT, Safety & Security, Procurement, Finance, and the People team - Maintain regular communications with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that all concerned parties are well informed on relevant topics</li><li>Plan space allocation with an optimal utilization of space resources</li><li>Work according to the opex and capex budget and provide accurate forecasts spent to work within the agreed budget</li><li>Any ad-hoc duties and projects as required to meet the needs of the business or as directed by the Director, EMEA Places</li><li>Developing and implementing sustainable ideas and solutions</li></ul><p>All this plus the opportunity to work in a collegial, fun loving environment in a fast-paced, dynamic top global cybersecurity company await you!</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Your Experience</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years workplace experience in a multinational company with a degree in Administration, Facilities or Real Estate (an advantage) or equivalent military experience required</li><li>Experience in real estate management is an advantage</li><li>Strong people and communication skills with demonstrable ability to work with business / functional leaders as well as employees at all levels</li><li>Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with an analytical mind</li><li>Ability to effectively drive multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills</li><li>Excellent organizational, methodical and works well under pressure</li><li>Self driven, positive attitude, sense of humor and enjoys having fun</li><li>A team player with leadership skill</li><li>Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills</li><li>Superior English language, written and oral, communication skills required - Dutch an advantage </li></ul><p>If you don't 100% meet the criteria but confident that you have what it takes to thrive in the role, apply anyways!
