About the role

Summary
The Senior Manager provides direct support to the General Manager by assisting in leading the management team to
success. They provide leadership and direction to the Theater Crew operations ensuring that all team members are
guest-focused, team-focused, and contributing to enhancing the overall Emagine guest experience. The Senior Manager is a
General Manager in Training, ready to assume General Manager responsibilities when the opportunity arises.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  •  Manage and oversee employees in crew operations ensuring that they are providing outstanding customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure all guests enjoy their Emagine experience.
  • Understand each AOR (area of responsibility) and assist the Management team in completing each departments tasks to achieve company objectives. 
  • Assist in training, developing and coaching the management team to be successful leaders within Emagine. 
  • Assist in managing and overseeing day to day operations of the theater to ensure efficiency and profitability standards are being maintained.
  • Respond to guest comments while educating and empowering other employees to act in similar capacity to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and quality.
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting out profit and loss findings for the theater operations to identify coaching opportunities and ensure operational objectives are being met.
  • Enforce safety, sanitary practices and maintenance to ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances; all health inspections meet required state standards.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University, preferably a degree in Hospitality or Business Management or
equivalent experience; Three to five years of management experience in a theater or retail environment.

Performance Measurements
1. Theater operation functions are efficiently, accurately, and effectively performed in accordance with established policies and standards.
2. Profit and loss budgets are within projected operating expectations.
3. Customer service levels for managing areas meet and exceed expectations. Guest problems or questions are courteously and promptly resolved.
4. Good working relationships and coordination exist with other team members, management, and main office.
