What You Will Do

• Provide technical support to internal and external customers as it relates to Escapes, Quality Management System Procedures, Regulations and Compliance.
• Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards & customer requirements.
• Provide timely disposition, correction, and closure of nonconforming material as Material Review Board (MRB) member.
• Drive Level 1 Mistake Proofing in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) plans for quality issues.
• Recommend improvements to QMS based on internal and external quality system audit results.
• Lead Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for quality.
• Engage with Engineering, and Operations in Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans reviews to identify potential product and process risks and mitigation actions.
• Mentor other quality engineers on improved inspection methods
• Analyze and present data on site quality issues to upper management/site leadership guiding improvement projects

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• Engineering background in an Aerospace setting
• Background in RCCA activity
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the programs/contracts at this site

Qualifications We Prefer

• Knowledge and/or experience with FAA regulations
• Experience as AS9100 internal auditor
• Experience with SAP
