THE JOB:
The Cage Cashier is responsible for handling monetary transactions and exchanges with guests in a fast-paced environment. This includes processing cash and other financial instruments accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compliance with company policies and gaming regulations.

THE STARTING RATE:$17.24

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Process a variety of financial transactions, including frontline entry-level transactions, chip bank transactions, poker transactions, cage credit transactions, and employee bank/window transactions.

• The cashier will initiate a marker transaction for the guest, which will then be processed through the Main Bank.

• Cash various types of checks for patrons in accordance with established guidelines; tokens, chips, TITO (ticket in/ticket out), and Race and Sports tickets.

• Conduct Marker and Front Money transactions on patron accounts accurately and efficiently.

• Ensure the security and proper documentation of all recordable transactions involving company assets.

• Maintain accurate records by completing electronic multiple transaction logs and manually recording transactions when required.

• Provide general information and assistance to patrons as needed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Basic understanding of mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, along with money handling.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Proficient in computer software such as Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all business contacts.

• Capable of balancing a bank without assistance, including identifying errors when out of balance.

• Familiarity with using a 10-key adding machine, currency counter, and cash advance machine.

• Is at least 21 years old

• Possess a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

• Prior experience working in a similar setting

• Has 6+ months of prior relevant experience (high volume cash handling required)
