About this role
We are seeking a Director of Digital Corporate Functions for the Kidde Global Solutions business. The individual will interact with business stakeholders and subject matter experts in the HR, Legal & Finance teams to align technology solutions with business strategy. This individual should understand the business systems and user’s needs to develop technical solutions to business problems, applying Agile methodologies. The individual ideally has experience in corporate
functions, business processes and platforms, with implementations across multiple teams in a large multinational corporation or in other complex environments.
 

This role is critical to ensure that our business technology solutions align with our business strategy, enhance operational efficiencies, and provide competitive advantage. As a key member of the IT leadership team, the Digital Corporate Functions leader will collaborate closely with other leaders in IT and HQ to spearhead digital transformation initiatives.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Digital Technology team participating in KGS strategic programs and initiatives. Support HR, Legal, and Finance by analyzing and defining requirements with the corporate/business unit teams and third parties, to orchestrate digital projects that enable the organization.
• Gather business, user and system/process requirements to develop technical solutions and ensure business success, while meeting stakeholder expectations.
• Act as a bridge between business ideas and business capabilities; defining, analyzing, and documenting business processes and solutions based on customer needs, data analysis, user stories, and stakeholder feedback.
• Provide tactical support for the overall corporate functions transformation goals, including shared services enablement and process simplification/optimization across the board.
• Ensure that proposed solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with current and future business needs.
• Partner with our software and service suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions supporting ongoing operations.
• Create a Digital strategy that aligns to the Finance, HR, and Legal functions and maximizes value delivery opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing insights on technology trends, industry best practices, and business improvements.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders to leverage applications for creating value.
• Regularly assess stakeholder satisfaction with applications, share findings, and take action to enhance satisfaction levels.
• Lead a team of IT professionals towards high performance. Encourage a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.
   

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in IT or a relevant business/industry sector.
• 5+ years of experience leading diverse teams, including co-located and remote groups.
• 5+ years of leadership responsibilities, including strategy, and team development.
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and implementing large-scale IT projects.
• Experience with Treasury, Finance and/or other corporate system implementations
• Demonstrated success in vendor and stakeholder management.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
