We are revolutionizing the delivery of healthcare and we need a Technical Accounting/ SEC Reporting Manager to join us.
Responsibilities
Perform review of non-standard, complex contracts and determine the correct accounting treatment.
Conclude and memorialize technical accounting position papers involving highly judgmental and subjective assessments.
Assist with the assessment of new SEC/GAAP pronouncements, preparing position papers, and amending the reporting process and accounting policies accordingly.
Assist in the research and documentation of technical accounting inquiries and related disclosure requirements.
Prepare technical accounting memos.
Serve as an internal technical accounting resource for the operating businesses to support key new or non-standard transactions and initiatives.
Draft, update and maintain the Company’s accounting policies.
Prepare all accounting guidelines related areas in 10Q/10K draft
Work closely with the offshore team and review overall 10Q/10K draft
Review SEC disclosure checklist.
Research and provide recommendations on non-GAAP related items.
Provide direct support on various special projects.
Performs all other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of related accounting experience; a mix of public and private accounting experience preferred.
Strong technical accounting skillset and prior technical accounting experience (including preparing accounting memos)
SEC reporting experience
Experience reviewing non-standard complex contracts and deciphering the accounting treatment is a plus
Writing accounting policies
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
CPA license required
Must have strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented
Must be comfortable working both independently and in a team environment
