Pay Rate:  

Salary: $129,900 to $144,300 

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform:  

Manage Pricing 

• Cost Estimating- Develop cost estimates from specifications, provided by the sales reps, in multiple systems for new or prospective business. 

• Bid preparation, analysis and response to customers and National Accounts to provide needed data for bid completion. 

• Analysis of Sales Rep quoting activity – Develop and maintain monthly reporting of activity by sales reps to determine wins and losses and reasons why.  Follow up with sales reps on the status of quotes. 

• Recommend pricing levels – analyze pricing across the business for like items and build pricing recommendations database for new items. 

• Management of the price increases and decreases SharePoint Site 

• Analyze scenarios and options to increase profit margin within current accounts as assigned by sales managers. 

 

Sales Support Activities 

• Support analysis of National Account and Regional opportunities for all sheet plants.  Support review of new opportunities for best fit within sheet plants.  Coordinate opportunities with plants to find the best fit.   

• Understand and improve sheet plant capabilities and capacity for opportunity review. Help in the development of the facilities capital plan based on market needs 

• Manage prospect database and provide sales reps reports for their assigned geographical area. 

• Develop and maintain competitor database by gathering needed input from sales reps and managers 

 

The Skills You Will Bring:  

• Four - year college degree or comparable business experience  

• 3 to 4 years Customer Service/ Sales experience 

• Demonstrated Self-starter, ability to work independently  

• Ability to handle multiple task 

• Management Behaviors 

• Demonstrated analytical and administrative skills 

• Knowledge of Sales Force or other sales pipeline tools 

• Ability to promote into future sales roles 

• Preferred knowledge of HRMS / AMTECH 

•  Experience in the corrugated box industry is a plus
