About the role
<p>Job Description<br/> </p><p>Key responsibilities of the role are:</p><ul><li>Provide 1st level support for our suite of fund accounting applications via timely resolution of functional and technical queries raised by users;</li><li>Provide troubleshooting assistance and subject matter expertise to Investran users;</li><li>Taking ownership for and resolve issues, identifying root cause and developing solutions to prevent recurrence;</li><li>Develop as a functional Subject Matter Expert for the Investran platform. Document and build a knowledge base while cross-training team members;</li><li>Document new processes and define requirements for enhancements to system functionality;</li><li>Assist in comprehensive testing and manage the acceptance testing process;</li><li>Develop ability to support in rollout of system updates;</li><li>Analyse Fund Accounting operational procedures and processes, collaborating with the Fund Managers team to identify areas for automation, aiming to reduce risk and improve efficiency;</li><li>Assist with various project initiatives.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>Requirements</p><p></p><p>Essential Requirements</p><ul><li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite (esp. Excel expert level knowledge, VBA an advantage)</li><li><u>Prior work experience in funds industry/ fund accounting is essential</u> – this role may be of interest to those who have fund accounting experience and are looking to use this experience and move into a systems-type role</li><li>Prior experience of Investran preferrable</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills (process analysis, information flow)</li><li>Ability to liaise and translate between technical and non-technical departments</li><li>Excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills;</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Deliver in an environment with high expectations and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li></ul><p></p><p>Benefits</p><ul><li>Hybrid Working Arrangement: following successful completion of probation period you will meet your colleagues three days in the office and have the option to work two days a week from home;</li><li>Generous Employee Benefits Package: performance related bonus plan, pension plan, life assurance, long term illness benefit, on-site gym;</li><li>Professional Development: your professional and personal development is key at our company: therefore, we offer you internal and external trainings aligned with our business needs.
