Job Responsibilities
- Primary role will include activities related to Joint Commission Hospital accreditation, Disease Specific Certifications and other service line distinctions of excellence (for example: SRC, Excellus Blue Distinction)
- Assist to oversee compliance with other regulatory standards such as CMS, CoP and NYS
- Work closely with associates, management, executives, medical staff and the Quality Board of Directors to achieve desired outcomes of the system quality improvement program
- Provide oversight and guidance to ensure the system complies with regulatory standards and contractual obligations
- Monitor data and activities to assist in the identification of improvement opportunities and risk
- Participate in RCAs, committees and projects
- Offer guidance and assistance with improvement efforts
- Facilitate Just Culture and encourage a pro-active approach to improving quality, safety and service
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required
Experience
- Experience with auditing for compliance assessment preferred
- Experience with regulatory surveys and interpreting standards preferred
- Project management experience highly desired
- Experience in quality management and quality improvement tools preferred
- Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft products
- Healthcare or human services experience preferred but not required

Position Pay Range: $79,000-100,000/year
Starting Pay: Based on experience
