Sterile Processing Technologist

Responsible for cleaning of reusable equipment and surgical instruments. Checks for proper operation, cleanliness and defects. Assembles and sterilizes same according to proper procedure. Ensures that the department is efficient, providing appropriate and timely service to medical center wide users of sterile supplies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education - Graduation from High School or the Equivalent Required

Experience - Basic Knowledge of Surgical Instrumentation Preferred

Licensure/Certification - Up to Date Sterile Processing Certification Preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Basic Microbiology Instruction Preferred
