Maintenance Technician

 

What you’ll bring to the team:

·         Replace defective equipment parts then set specified clearances and adjust alignment of moving and stationary parts using hand and power tools

·         Weld, repair and fabricate equipment or machinery as necessary

·         Fabricate and dismantle parts, equipment, and machines using a cutting torch or other cutting equipment

·         Ensures operation of machinery and equipment by executing preventive maintenance requirements, interpreting technical drawings or diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer’s instruction and engineering specifications

·         Documents work performed in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) in order to build equipment history by creating, retrieving and closing work orders

·         Red-line drawings when discrepancies are identified between a drawing and actual plant conditions

·         Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area by complying with documentation, procedural, and applicable regulatory requirements (such as safety, environmental and housekeeping.)

·         Attends and participates in required training

·         Understands and follows all organizational policies, procedures and rules, ensuring that all laws are obeyed, and equal employment, safety and environmental protection are practiced

·         Must be able to work more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week on any shift or travel as needed

What you’ll be doing:

·        Experience using hand tools on mechanical equipment.

·        Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems.

·        Inquisitive mind and love learning how things work.

·        Improve systems and processes to deliver a better and more consistent end-product to our customers.

·        Must be excellent at working task lists to completion alone or as part of a team.

·        We are also looking for candidates with strong backgrounds in electrical troubleshooting and repair with devices such as 3-phase motors, relays, PLC’s, and VFD’s. We will provide job-specific training in the field.

·        Demonstrating leadership skills in the field

·        Lead with new car wash installations and site launches

·        Complete work orders, weekly timesheets, and repair logs

·        Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment

·        Perform routine preventative maintenance

·        Train staff in the operation, preventative maintenance, and repair of car wash equipment. Lead in developing and improving maintenance program.
