Delivery Driver - Pharmacy

About Us:

Life Tree Pharmacy is a for profit subsidiary of Merakey and works with a wide range of facilities and programs to support individuals in LTC as well as the Behavioral Health and Intellectual and Developmental Disability communities.

 

Earn $18 per hour with benefits working M - F. 

 

About the position:

• Safely transport prescriptions and medical supplies to patients and facilities.
• Obtain required signatures for proof of delivery.
• Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff and customers regarding delivery status.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures while operating delivery vehicles.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
• Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of company vehicles to ensure a professional appearance and safe operation.
• Assist with light pharmacy tasks as needed, such as destruction  of returned medication.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Valid driver’s license with an active and clean driving record.
• Ability to follow local and state driving regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and behavior.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Comfortable using GPS.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods during delivery routes.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly.
