As a Junior Product Safety Manager in the Zalando Lounge Content Solutions, you will be part of a high performing team and required to work with vigor, agility and open mind while being diligent in supporting the team in ensuring safety of products offered on Lounge by Zalando website.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• You handle the daily business independently and ensure that the internal processes for product compliance are carried out on time

• You will contribute to update our product compliance framework and implementing legal requirements into processes for brands, laboratories and throughout the supply chain

• You support your senior colleagues to drive strategic concepts and initiatives by using reporting

• You will be providing support and expertise to the content and Buying Teams and suppliers to manage and optimize risks associated with product compliance

• You will be able to make decisions with stakeholders’ level of responsibility in mind, making sure to coordinate small to mid sized projects with Senior Managers/Team Leads

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• You have solid  knowledge and experience in product safety field (1-2 years) and overall overview on legislation applicable to product range offered by Zalando Lounge  

• You bring knowledge in specific European legal requirements concerning Product Compliance and in relation to retail or eCommerce

• You have analytical, strategic and problem solving skills with the declared intention to drive prevention focus. 

• You have the ability to lead small to mid sized projects from start to finish

• You have a good level of commercial understanding and strong communication skills in written and spoken in English

• You have  knowledge of software applications in project management, word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentations (GSuite (Sheets, Slides, Gmail)
