Job Description

This role will be based in San Francisco or Sunnyvale.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. 

The Strategic Finance Center of Excellence (COE) is focused on centralizing, standardizing, and modernizing key financial operations to unlock scale, accuracy, and strategic capacity across LinkedIn. As part of this mission, we are building a strong knowledge management foundation to ensure process clarity, consistency, and adoption across Finance. This role will play a critical part in creating and maintaining documentation that supports process alignment, onboarding, and cross-functional collaboration.   

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Knowledge Management associate to help build and maintain this foundation. This role focuses on creating clear, accurate, and accessible documentation that makes complex processes understandable and promotes consistent application of established practices across Finance.    

You will work closely with subject matter experts and process owners to capture critical knowledge through interviews, shadowing, and discovery sessions. Your work will ensure that documentation is not only comprehensive but also structured for easy adoption. You’ll maintain version control, ensure governance, and support training and enablement efforts to drive adoption. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about organizing complex information, ensuring process clarity and supporting change at scale.   

Responsibilities: 

Strategic Thinking 

  • Operationalizes ideas and develops plans for execution with support from more senior team members.  
  • Supports collaborative relationships with other teams and utilizes input and feedback to develop an understanding of their priorities and constraints. 

Stakeholder Influence 

  • Leverages insights and data to develop narratives to influence stakeholders with some guidance.  

Execution & Organization 

  • Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics-oriented perspective, with some supervision.  
  • Communicates with stakeholders to answer a variety of questions.  
  • Develops standard workstreams and operational processes according to defined procedures. 
  • Create training and enablement materials to support adoption at scale. 
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, and other knowledge assets (e.g., onboarding guides, process maps).

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 1 year of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of experience in process documentation, knowledge management, or content development. 
  • Prior exposure to Finance processes (FP&A, Finance Ops) 
  • Experience with change management and creating enablement content. 
  • Ability to design and develop digital content (e.g., interactive guides, visual aids) to enhance user engagement.
