Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the implementation and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Finance modules. This role involves gathering and translating finance-related business requirements, improving operational workflows, supporting change management, and ensuring compliance with financial standards. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, functional consultants, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of transformation initiatives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stakeholder Engagement & Requirement Gathering

• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to understand business needs, challenges, and goals.
• Analyze and map current finance processes and assess their alignment with overall operations.
• Conduct interviews and breakout sessions to collect comprehensive functional requirements.

2. Requirement Documentation & Communication

• Translate requirements into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and user stories.
• Ensure smooth communication between business users and SAP S/4HANA functional/technical teams.
• Coordinate with ACN functional consultants to confirm solution alignment.
• Recommend tools or technologies based on business needs and requirements.

3. Business Process Mapping & Optimization

• Document current (“As-Is”) and future (“To-Be”) financial processes, including internal controls.
• Identify areas for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Ensure process designs align with industry standards and best practices.

4. Support Change Management & User Adoption (Led by Change Activation)

• Partner with change teams to prepare users for system changes.
• Assist in developing user training materials and provide support during rollout.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), gather feedback, and ensure the solution meets business needs.

5. System Integration & Data Quality

• Define integration needs with third-party systems (e.g., Concur, HR platforms, BRIM, Fieldglass).
• Support data governance and ensure financial data consistency and accuracy within SAP.

6. Risk Management & Compliance

• Advise on regulatory standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) affecting finance operations.
• Ensure solutions include audit controls such as approvals, segregation of duties, and transaction tracking.
• Support internal audit readiness and compliance reporting related to SAP functionality.

7. Project Support & Task Coordination

• Assist project managers in tracking requirements and deliverables across the project lifecycle.
• Update JIRA boards and help maintain project dashboards.

8. Direct Implementation Support

• Assist with MJE automation using PaPM.
• Document and support MJE setup processes in ICMR, S4 Allocations, etc.
• Help build or revise code block value lists.
• Support other key Record-to-Report (R3) initiatives as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Finance & Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial operations, reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
• SAP S/4HANA Expertise: Familiarity with finance modules, features, and limitations of SAP S/4HANA.
• PaPM Hands-On Experience: Practical experience with PaPM, particularly in building automation for MJE.
• Process & Requirement Documentation: Skilled in documenting business workflows, internal controls, and translating business needs into technical specifications.
