As part of the opening of the French office last year, we are seeking an Junior Administrative & Finance Controller to support and integrate the Finance Department. The position is for our offices in Paris. We also offer hybrid work environment with a mix of work from home and presence a the office.
This is CDI position in France. You must already be able to legally work in France.
The Position: Junior Administrative & Finance Controller
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will participate to the creation, development and structuration of the Finance department for the EMEA territory. In that frame, you will work on an international scope such as France, Canada, Kazakhstan, Philippines, US.
The Role:
We are currently seeking an Administration & Finance Controller who will provide full administrative and finance support to Finance team but also to the other departments in connection with external partners (Suppliers, Chartered accountant...). This individual will show a high standard of excellence, organizational and relational capabilities with a finance background. The person should also appreciate challenges, start up environments and be result and solution driven, hands-on, curious, adaptable and flexible.
This role is very hands on and will allow you to participate to most of the finance and administrative processes (such as supplier relationship and administration, payables and payment processes, Travel and Expenses, accounting in relation with chartered accountant, controlling, analysis, legal contract management, tools set up...). You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the financial processes and organization development.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide variety of administrative support for the Finance Director (supplier invoices management & payment, contract storage and management, legal corporate documents preparations and savings, tax and legal incoming requests-mails gathering, expenses reports administration, any other administrative subject)
- Prepare various reports, including but not limited to, financial and operational report
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with the financial director to develop annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
- Support day-to-day financial operations, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Assist in implementing financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Completion of a Master's Degree or equivalent in finance-accounting
- Junior profiles are WELCOME - we value interest and motivation more than experience
- Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks within a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Knowledge of Finance and accounting
- Strong organizing skills with the ability to follow through to ensure that tasks and deadlines are completed
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to provide a high level of accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Good judgment and decision-making ability, especially when dealing with clients (internal and external) at all levels
- Self-motivated and results oriented
- Ability to handle and maintain information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is a real plus.
