Staff Engineer

Ardurra is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our team in either office located in Heber City, UT or Draper, UT!
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- EI/EIT or PE Certificate
- 0-3 years’ experience in the civil engineering field
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation a definite plus
- Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environment
- Excellent Communication Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects
- Assists in the development of construction cost estimates for various projects
- Various design tasks and preparation of drawings under the direction of experienced project managers, along with construction inspection and oversight
- Keeps Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project scope or additional services
- Assists in design components of various projects
- Provides information to Project Manager or Project Engineer for incorporation into specifications
- Researches design options and presents options to Project Manager or Project Engineer
- May serve as onsite project representative
- Additional duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to navigate various locations and settings of the company
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a vehicle
