As a Security Officer - Utilities Dispatch in Delaware City, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more.

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage all incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch center, coordinating responses as needed for incidents and requests within the utilities location.
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, dispatching appropriate personnel or resources as required.
- Document and track all incidents, calls, and communications in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
- Maintain clear and concise communication with field personnel, management, and emergency services as necessary to facilitate prompt responses.
- Assist in monitoring surveillance systems or alarms and relay relevant information to appropriate team members.
- Support the ongoing operations of the dispatch center by keeping logs, reports, and records up-to-date.

Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- A security-related guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
