About This Opportunity:
This is a dual role, balancing the role as the Employee Relations lead across all of EMEA and as a Senior HR Business Partner for our Product & Engineering teams. This person plays a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives to drive meaningful engagement, performance, and retention at scale. This role acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders, leveraging data-driven insights to shape talent programs and organisational design. The Senior HRBP will support workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives while championing Docebo’s culture and values. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate complex change management processes. This role also acts as the point person for all employee relations matters across EMEA.

Primary responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Partner with business leadership to contribute to talent conversations, providing strategic guidance to drive employee engagement, retention, and performance with our product and engineering organisations.
  • Support and manage all employee relations across EMEA by addressing complex issues with an eye toward compliance, risk reduction, and adherence to HR policies.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify workforce trends and influence talent strategies that align with organisational goals.
  • Lead organisational design efforts, including restructures, while championing change and ensuring successful change management.
  • Drive talent mobility initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and identifying development needs for teams and leaders.
  • Coach and guide managers to enhance leadership capabilities, focusing on performance management, professional development, and career pathing.
  • Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to advise on talent programs, such as performance management, compensation strategies, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Design and pilot business-specific programs to address unique talent needs in cases where global programs do not yet exist.
  • Build strong working relationships with leaders and employees across the organisation, serving as a trusted advisor.

What it takes to be successful:

  • The Senior HRBP must be a proactive, solutions-oriented professional with a passion for developing talent and driving organisational success. They must be well versed on local employment laws, especially across Italy, UK, France, Spain and Germany. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and possess exceptional coaching and relationship-building skills. A deep understanding of HR practices, compliance laws, data analysis, and change management is essential. Success in this role requires adaptability, strategic thinking, and the ability to deliver impactful solutions that meet the needs of a global workforce.

Education and Experience:

  • 8+ years of relevant HR experience, including 2+ years in an HR Business Partner role.
  • Must have experience with Product & Engineering business units
  • Must be fluent in both English & Italian (other European languages are a plus!)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting global teams
  • Expertise in HR policies, procedures, and labor regulations in Europe, specifically Italy, UK, France, Spain and Germany.
  • Proven track record of managing complex organisational change and designing scalable talent solutions.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
