Are you passionate about driving innovation and optimising business processes? We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Technical Lead to join our team. As a key member of our platform team, you will play a critical role in implementing, enhancing, and supporting the ServiceNow platform within our organisation.

Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership and Business Analysis/Stakeholder Management:

  • Provide technical leadership to the platform team, offering guidance and expertise.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements effectively.

  • Lead software development, oversee technical aspects, design, configure, and deploy ServiceNow production releases.

  • Coach and support development teams in improving their agile practices.

Architecture and Solutions:

  • Create and maintain a detailed view of the existing architecture.

  • Ensure architectural controls are in place to deliver the correct technical solutions for business needs.

Incident Resolution:

  • Handle technical escalations, including responding to defects and incidents promptly.

Strategic Direction:

  • Work closely with the platform manager to establish the strategic vision and direction for the ServiceNow platform and deliver on the platform roadmap.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Contribute to ongoing administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow Platform.

  • Manage platform communications, including documenting changes, release notes, and notifications to impacted teams.

  • Coordinate and maintain knowledge to ensure up-to-date documentation of technical standards and processes.

  • Contribute to functional testing procedures to verify that solutions developed align with business requirements.

  • Collaborate with the platform manager to expand the use of ServiceNow as a key business platform throughout the organisation.

Qualifications:

  • Advantageous: Certified Scrum Master

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • ServiceNow Certification: Certified ServiceNow System Administrator or higher.

Experience:

  • Experience in leading cross-functional work teams up to task completion.

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, scripting, and workflows.

  • Must have proven experience working in agile environments.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence, collaborate and communicate strongly with key stakeholders across the Bank.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
