About the role

Highlights:

  • Dynamic forensics team with many opportunities CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Work with other forensics personnel in the Latent Print section to support the TEDAC mission.
  • The only contract supporting the TEDAC Latent Print mission.
  • Organizing, tracking, and collecting data on cases from around the world that are submitted to TEDAC for exploitation. Analyze data for trends.
  • Obtain some or enhance your experience working in a fully functional government laboratory working closely with forensics experts.

Typical Day:

The Program Analyst performs higher-level tasks associated with the preparation and maintenance of case documentation. The performance of these tasks requires Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills (Access, Excel, Word, Office) and supporting the ability to conduct research documentation by accessing TEDAC-specific databases, such as NGI, Explosives Reference Tool (EXPeRT), DART, and for latent results from Department of Defense (DoD) labs, specific DoD databases. 

Tasks:  

  • Provide basic managerial/administrative support for case documentation requests from internal and external
  • Support functional areas in the preparation of case information and items for court
  • Send communications to appropriate field offices or FBI Headquarters (HQ) as
  • Document tracking or developing database/spreadsheet applications to track case files, audit reports, and other documentation management
  • Assist with other duties as

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
  • Skills:
    • INTERMEDIATE computer skills, to include use of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
    • Organization skills; flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
    • Significant experience with Pivot Tables in Microsoft Excel.
    • Self-starter with initiative to learn new skills and interact with other contractors and Government personnel.

Shift: Day Shift

Clearance: current US DoD Top Secret or FBI Top Secret
