THE JOB:
We're hiring a Barista to join our outstanding team at Starbucks! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, has a love for coffee, and thrives in a team-oriented atmosphere. Responsibilities include preparing a variety of beverages, keeping your workspace clean, and delivering exceptional customer service.
THE STARTING RATE:Ā $14.8813/hr plus tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Take and place orders, serve food and drinks efficiently, and garnish items according to guest preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, following proper cash handling and comp procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of both front and back of house, clearing tables and counters, and keeping the dining area tidy without disturbing guests.
Pack and complete orders with condiments as needed, ensuring proper labeling and dating of products per safety and sanitation guidelines.
Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, including unloading warehouse orders, stocking, and organizing products in designated storage areas and workstations.
Address guest complaints within your scope of authority and escalate to management when necessary. Notify the supervisor and/or Security of any unusual events, missing items, or alleged theft.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Able to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends
Must possess a Food Handlers card on or before start date
One year or more of food handling and guest service experience preferred
Coffee shop experience preferred
