Task requirements   Domestic Considerations: An FTRS (HC) appointment that attracts no X-factor pay nor any Home to duty travel. Nights Out Of Bed (NOOB)/Separated Service (SS) is not expected and purely conducted on a voluntary basis by the position incumbent. Any unit visit will be conduct during the working day which may include extended hours. T&S will be granted IAW current Army policy IOT support official working events and visits. Place of work is RHQ REME with some flexible working and WFH arrangements may be available.

Position Role:  Apprenticeships REME Warrant Officer is to provide direct and sustained engagement with Fd Force elements IOT maximise understanding, learning and drive soldiers forward to Gateway and End Point Assessment (EPA).

Responsibilities:
1. Allocated lead for Gateway and End Point Assessments.
2. Deliver Unit presentations IOT maintain and raise understanding throughout the Field Force.
3. Deliver Trg presentations to course cohorts at various training establishments.
4. Lead on the administrative delivery of all Field Force Functional Skills and Unit Maths courses.
5. Assist to manage Break-in-Learning and Withdrawal Applications.
6. To champion and advise on the use of Expert Witness Statements.
7. To conduct QA on initial Apprenticeship Induction briefs and monitor and QA ITT soldiers Progress Reviews and management of.
8. To monitor the correct allocation and employment of Unit mentors and coordinators.
9. To lead on mentor training and maintain currency and availability of Unit mentor and Unit coordinator policy and D&G.
10. Work under the direction of, report to and complete all tasks set by the CAL.

The full range of responsibilities and task are documented in the Post Job Specification. Essential competencies   Minimum Class 1 at a REME core trade: An Artificer trained Warrant Officer is desirable but Artisans  are also considered.

Professional Registration: Engineering Tech or Incorporated Engineer. If not held then must be gained within 12 months of taking up post post.

Hold L3 Education in English, Maths and Engineering.

Good knowledge of REME Bn and Unit’s ways of working.

Knowledge and experience of REME soldier WLD/Careers.



Desirable competencies   Experience of working in a Staff role is desirable.
