We aim to keep our teams small and agile, ensuring that all team members play an integral role in the team’s success.</p> <p>Associate responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Driving research, idea generation, and thematic sourcing across Summit’s sectors of focus to identify the most compelling investment opportunities</li> <li>Engaging with entrepreneurs and executives of privately held companies to explore and develop new investment ideas</li> <li>Becoming knowledgeable in our sectors of focus by building key relationships, attending conferences, and trade shows</li> <li>Conducting due diligence and quantitative analysis on new investments and add-ons</li> <li>Helping manage portfolio company relationships and strategic projects</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we look for</strong></p> <p>Most Associates have two-to-three years of professional, quantitatively-based experience (typically from investment banking, direct investing, or consulting, although we invite other backgrounds to apply). Successful candidates will have a proven track record of leadership skills, outstanding academic (typically a GPA of 3.6+), and/or professional and extra-curricular achievements.
