Role Summary
The Client Account Data Structure Analyst on the Sales and Client Data Strategy Team will be responsible for supporting changes to Salesforce complex hierarchy updates. This position would ideally include proactive and reactive researching to reflect mergers and acquisitions (M&A) impact on sales data. The position focus include delivering business driven updates, combined with data source review and best practices in client structure for sales reporting. In this position, you will work with cross-functional teams to address immediate short-term asks and strategic initiatives to achieve automation as much as possible.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing incoming requests for updates or enhancements focusing on quality, level of effort and prioritization for effective time management
- Pays close attention to details to provide data integrity/accuracy of updates in a timely manner
- Know when/how to hand off requirements and details of research/analysis to technology teams to delegate work as multiple projects are ongoing at once, to slice up the work appropriately.
- Provides ongoing training and job aids as changes are implemented and new members are onboarded.
- Collaboration/Coordination skills across many sales teams to gain consensus and follow-thru on given decisions
- Manage a few dozen M&A at a time, gain agreement between sales groups, SGM groups and SS&C on changes and timeline
- Identify controls and efficiencies in operational updates and ensure business requests are in line with best practices
- Monitor Sales Data exceptions and perform root cause analysis to identify business impact
- Address change management and ensure automation and ongoing production support is efficient and documented/understood by team members and stakeholders.
- Give continuous feedback, acting as SME for stakeholders and technical teams on complex data operational requests and production support trends.
- Identifies and shapes continuous improvement opportunities and recommendations that drives data to better serve the business.
- Cultivate relationship with larger sales management teams as well as field sales teams.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum five years of experience working in data analyst/operations function in wealth management /financial industry
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
Preferred:
- Excellent communication skill is critical for all aspects of the role.
- Wealth Management or Financial industry knowledge of Mergers and Acquisition types, variations and terminology used
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data domain specific to Asset Management/Distribution function
- Understanding of FINRa/SEC impacts and flow of data as M&A occurs
- Ability to capture/understand how 3rd party data providers (such as SS&C, Broadridge, etc) are handling M&A data
- Strong skills in tools to most efficiently pull data for analysis, compare and incrementally manage large data updates.
- Detail oriented to drive accurate results with appropriate facts gathered
- High sense of urgency and follow through. Partnering effectively to execute on common goals.

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
