position details/responsibilities…

• HVAC Installers are responsible for installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and/or refrigeration, and other equipment following manufacture specifications and company requirements.
• Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering and knowledge of press systems
• Perform installation of flex, ductboard, and/or sheet metal duct systems in light commercial and multifamily buildings
• Inspecting HVAC systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Advising management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Supporting superintendent and foreman to ensure jobsite safety and security.

here’s what we’re looking for…

• Minimum of three years as an installer
• Possession of High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; EPA certification a plus
• Proficient knowledge of the IMC, SMACNA GUIDELINES, local codes, and construction safety requirements.
