Primary Purpose:

A1 Garage Door Service, the industry leader in garage door installation and repair, seeks an Experienced Warehouse Manager for our Phoenix Warehouse. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the receipt, storage, coordination, staging and movement of parts for the installation team. Other duties include but are not limited to: Organization of daily load outs, restocking activities, routine maintenance of working areas.

• Direct responsibility for daily operations of the Warehouse.
•  Will lead a team of 4-6 associates.
• Audit ordering, receiving, inventory management.
• Receive and unload incoming product while verifying accuracy of shipment and inspection for damages, loss, or defects.
• Maintain product, tools, equipment, and work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner
• Perform inventory control.
• Ability to operate a computer.
• Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning and organizational duties.
• Work with installation, repair team members, and transportation staff to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Ensure that company transport vehicles are maintained in good working conditions

Abilities:

• Experience as a Warehouse Manager.
• 3-5 years Demonstrated Management of a Warehouse is required.
• Experience and ability to drive a fork-lift, operate a manual pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Knowledge:

• Strong computer skills, be able to quickly learn new software and be comfortable working on a tablet and laptop.
• Physically able to move items weighing 80-100 lbs. and the ability to bend, climb, reach, kneel, etc. for extended periods.
• Prior professional experience working in the garage door industry is beneficial but not required
• Mon - Fri daytime hours, some weekend hours may be required as needed
