Job Overview & Responsibilities
The Senior Contracts Administrator serves as a key advisor and lead partner in managing the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts within a technical consulting environment. This role provides expert guidance on FAR/DFARS compliance, evaluates complex solicitation and agreement requirements, and leads the development, review, and negotiation of contractual documents such as NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and Subcontracts. Working closely with Sales, Program Managers, Accounting, Legal, and other stakeholders, the Senior Contracts Administrator ensures contract terms align with business objectives, mitigate risk, and support the successful delivery of consulting services. The position also contributes to advancing organizational contracting practices through policy development, process improvements, and consistent application of best practices.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
- Provide authoritative subject matter expertise on government contracting process and procedures needed to comply with appropriate laws and regulations.
- Review and identify significant contract or programmatic requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure policies and procedures compliance with appropriate laws and regulations.
- Lead the development, negotiation, and management of subcontracts and supplier agreements.
- Analyze complex RFPs, RFQs, and Subcontract Agreement terms to identify compliance risks and opportunities.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contractual documents, including NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and Subcontracts.
- Represent the company to a variety of customers, including the U.S. Government, commercial, and public/private institutions.
- Resolve contractual issues and disputes through effective negotiation and communication with stakeholders, engaging with legal counsel as necessary.
- Work closely with cross-functional departments such as accounting, sales, operations, and project management to align contract terms with business objectives and operational capabilities.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of contracting policies, templates, and procedures.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Contract Management, Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in contracts, subcontracts, and/or combination of experiences.
- Experience in government contracts and subcontracts preferred.
