Maintenance Technician

Pocono Mountain Villas by Exploria Resorts - Bushkill, PA.

Full Time-$17.00/Hour

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provides exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly and efficient way.
• Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance tasks in a manner responsive to guest satisfaction and to preservation of Company assets in a safe, cost- effective manner.
• Requires advanced knowledge of maintenance skills.
• Requires ability to handle all aspects of hotel/resort maintenance.
• Requires general knowledge of building maintenance to include minor electrical repair, appliance repair, plumbing, and dry wall repair.
• Requires self-motivation and organizational skills.
• Requires ability to be available for emergency repairs.
• Will possess the ability to prioritize a rapidly changing task list for the satisfaction of our guests.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Requires minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or related field is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid Driver’s License 

Required Competencies:

• Must be punctual, dependable and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Communicate effectively in English

Physical Demands:

• Work outdoors for extended periods of time
• Constant standing with some walking.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up 50 pounds
