Position Overview

The Technology Solutions Owner will be responsible for overseeing and managing the internal and external technology tools associated with the ongoing delivery of MSX Learning Solutions’ offerings. This includes responsibility for the the existing solutions portfolio, building solutions roadmaps and marketing strategies, performing market assessments and ensuring resources are allocated to  the development and implementation of new solutions, assuming responsibility for customer satisfaction with the solutions, and aligning technology initiatives with MSX’ Learning Solutions’ goals and objectives.

 

The Technology Solutions Owner will work closely with the Learning Solutions leadership team, regional delivery teams and stakeholders to identify technology and business needs and implement internal or external solutions that improve the overall efficiency, profitability and effectiveness of MSX’ offerings and meet our clients’ performance goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the current solutions portfolio and ensure that it supports MSX Learning Solutions objectives.
• Assess current technology solutions for fit with company and value stream objectives
• Develop and maintain implementation and sustainment plans to ensure business continuity through product roadmaps that align with MSX Learning Solutions business strategy.
• Evaluate and recommend solutions updates or new solutions to meet our business needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements
• Manage the implementation of new solutions, including planning, development, and testing.
• Collaborate with MSX Information Technology Team to ensure the security and stability of the solutions through appropriate monitoring systems and protocols.
• Manage relationships with external solutions suppliers partners to ensure timely delivery of technology solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest learning trends and technologies to make recommendations to the Global Solutions Lead
• Mentor and develop the Regional Delivery Leads to support the local implementation and sustainment activities, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Estimate and manage solution costs and collaborate with Global Solutions Team, Local Delivery and Sales partners to ensure profitability of solutions

 

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years in a learning and development environment
• A deep understanding of learning management systems and learning engagement platforms and technologies
• Experience with instructional design and adult learning
• Experience implementing external technology solutions
• Experience working with software developers.
• A strong understanding of cloud and software Infrastructure. 
• Outcome-orientated and focused on delivering high-quality projects within time and budget estimations 
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances while applying analytical and technical skills to deliver results
• Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically with a commercial focus
• Strong relationship-building, customer engagement and communication skills
• A breadth of design-level thinking which can see the “bigger picture” in recommending possible long-term solutions while dealing in real-time with shorter-term approaches to meet specific challenges.
